OBATRENDS (we, us) operates Affinia, a relationship guidance app, and the website affinia.life. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us: your email address and name (if provided) at checkout or sign-in, and your answers to our quiz (such as age range and questions about your relationship), which we use to personalise your plan.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive payment status, plan, amount and billing identifiers.
Information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location, the ad or link that brought you to us, and how you interact with our quiz and checkout. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics tools such as Meta and Utmify.
We use your information to provide and personalise Affinia; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to send transactional emails such as your welcome message, receipts, renewal reminders and account notices; to provide customer support; to measure and improve our ads, website and app; and to prevent fraud and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us run Affinia, only as needed: Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (hosting and database), Resend (email delivery), Atomicat (website and quiz hosting), and advertising and analytics providers such as Meta and Utmify. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.
We and our advertising partners use cookies and pixels to measure our ads and to show them to people who may be interested. Under some US state laws this may count as sharing for targeted advertising. You can opt out with your browser's cookie controls, with the ad settings in your Meta account, or by emailing us.
We send the transactional emails needed to run your account. Any promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Depending on where you live (including California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Affinia is intended for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do. If the changes are material, we will tell you by email or on our website.
