These Terms and Conditions of Use govern your use of the Affinia website (affinia.life) and the Affinia app, operated by OBATRENDS (we, us). By using Affinia you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and, if you buy a plan, to our Subscription Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Affinia.
Affinia is for adults 18 years or older. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 and that you can enter into this agreement.
Your access to Affinia is tied to the email address you used at checkout. Keep your access private and do not share it with others. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your access.
Paid plans, prices, automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds are explained in our Subscription Terms. If anything in these terms conflicts with the Subscription Terms about billing, the Subscription Terms apply.
Affinia provides educational content and coaching-style guidance about relationships and communication, such as lessons, scripts and practical guides. Content is general and is not personalised professional advice.
Affinia is not therapy and it is not medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice. It does not replace a qualified professional. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 for crisis support, or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
We do not promise any particular result. How you use what you learn, and what happens in your relationships, is your own responsibility.
The Affinia content, text, design, scripts and materials belong to OBATRENDS or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. While you have an active plan, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use them for your own personal use.
You may not copy, resell, share or publish our content or your access; use Affinia for anything unlawful; try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to our systems; or use automated tools to collect content from Affinia.
Affinia is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make any warranties, express or implied, about the service, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, OBATRENDS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Affinia, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You can stop using Affinia and cancel your plan at any time, as explained in the Subscription Terms. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service.
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do. If the changes are material, we will tell you by email or on our website. Continuing to use Affinia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
